Colleen Ryan, LSW

My authenticity and sense of humor intersect with a lifelong passion for the performing arts to bring music, poetry, pop culture, and anything else that moves my clients – most often women, teens, and the LBTQIA community – into the therapy room.  With the awareness of how healing one’s relationship with sexuality can reduce shame and bring about a more empowered and authentic life, I strive to be a sex-positive therapist and have a long-term professional goal of becoming an AASECT-certified (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) sex therapist.  A graduate of the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work (Family Systems concentration), I am currently completing a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Denver Family Institute, where I serve adolescents, adults, and families from a client-centered, systems perspective.  I am excited to meet you.
